Just picked up a MTX i thunder boombox today and WOW . This little boombox bumps,has anyone heard one yet?.Amazing sound amazing price.

I have the black one .I have 3 c-100f's,2-gf777z,1 m90 and a few other goodies. This little unit can bang with the big boys even the pink one .

It sounds good and bangs out bass harder that the m-90.It is like kaboom bass

I'd never expect MTX to skimp on bass - even with 4" full range drivers... Still, how are the highs on that little unit?

First off if u own a boring ipod this is the unit u must get.The highs are good it gets loud (4" 'full' range drivers). For 100 bucks well worth it and it is portable takes 8c batteries.
I thought it was a peice of s hi t just looking at it, but when i brought it home and started to listen to it my mind was changed real fast.If u dont want youre old ass arm falling off from carrying a larger unit. I suggest u get on of these .

Any idea which stores carry them? The MTX site doesn't list retailers. I looked at BB and they don't appear to carry it.

A few of the online sites are listing it as discontinued (?) Hard to believe such a gem wouldn't sell like hot cakes.

How does it compare with the Ikicker?
I like that the MTX model can use batteries and has a handle, but what's up with the lack of tuners on all ipod players? How bout some HD radio?
