What is the best shipping company for international shipping?

skippy1969 - 2008-06-11 13:54

I was wondering what company would be the best shipping company to ship a boombox to the U.K. I checked the postoffice and the box is too big. Fed Ex and DHL were nuts. Any Ideas? Thanks.... Smile

USPS, our good ol' post office. It gets there when they say it will get there and not banged up. Plus customs is not much of an issue when it comes from USPS. Plus tracking is a cakewalk because they will tell you when it hits customs. Just be carful regarding insurance. Oversees customs will valuate it base on the insurance. Say it's an old radio on the form. I sent my first PC-55 to HiFitom in Germany. They said it would take ten days and it arrived in eight. Big Grin Tom had to pick it up two days later though after they interrogated him about it so ten days total. Big Grin

Yes I can't even ship it through the post office, the box is too large. also they told me they only ship international priority now,and it's expensive even if the box was the within the maximum size. Mad

this place is amazing from u.k to u.s :

http://parcelflight.co.uk/

it actually goes via dhl 3 day air service , cost me about £50 to post one of those super heavy sharp t.v boxes to a u.s west coast member . .

you get full tracking , only thing , max insurance is £50

awesome service , oh , they pick up from your house too! ! !

Thats cool Royal, but it looks like they only ship from U.K to U.S. not U.S. to U.K. Frown
