Cholo1: tell us your general location & any issues it has (nothing 25+ years old is perfect) & the sort of money you're looking for... then the interest will be big, I think.

andyboombox - 2011-10-13 03:13

dont do it!!!!!one of the biggest regrets was selling mine.money or no money!i still miss her badly

cholo1 - 2011-10-13 04:22

Hey Andy,

i hear what you re saying, its just that the m-90 doesnt do it for me, when playing tape its not as loud as a clairtone7980 of a 777...plus its a box that i can get good money for selling it compare to selling other ones.

litfan - 2011-10-13 04:34

Not as loud, but, sweet as a nut.

cholo1 - 2011-10-13 05:13

I cant desagree Liftan, but i guess ill still have my m-70 and some good money

Money is tight at the moment....

ghettoman - 2011-10-13 05:20

it was the other way round for me cholo, when i had one here for fixing (i've never actually owned one)  the sound was nice, quite loud and had very good bass, but it was the looks of it i was'nt keen on,just looked a tad bland, grey and boring, but i cant knock it for quality, they are made very well, solid box..i appreciated that about it..if i had one now,or if i came accross one in the wild,i would sell it too..the M90 and M70 are 2 boxes i appreciate, but i dont desire or want one...

cholo1 - 2011-10-13 06:38

.....it was the looks of it i was'nt keen on,just looked a tad bland, grey and boring....

I gree wit you Beenie Man, lots of bass, not saying is not good sound its just id rater keep my clairtone and my 777...plus M-90 has fans ready to pay good money for it...i like the look on M-70,  is more of a classic look for me.

radio.raheem - 2011-10-23 20:03

Maybee not as loud...but the m90 has a much richer sound.....hope you get good money for yours cholo...she looks clean...i agree with beanie they do look bland and boaring

JVC PC-550C - Gee I had to go to the back to read this off of the box it is still in - another one of those that I bought way back when and simply never got it out of the box as i still dont have to space to properly play this huge stereo...

YES this is the only One of your list above that I have ...

the Toshiba Bombeat 40 I would like to hear one day and if it means ,,, if one ever came up for sale somewhere I would buy it to hear it and then ?? dont know probally re-sell it and as all I am interested in is hearing these

and now that i have the knowledge of Hearing Quite a few of boombox's I have come to the conclusion of the 2 model's I really like for my purpose's  to actually play  and not hung on the wall and looked at .......... which is why all ( what part of 'all' do ya'll don't understand ) are for sale except for my faovite 2 and those aren't even grails by most people's standards - they are simply what i like...and use ....
