really love these boxes and it's nice to have a number 2 for a back up box

I have to agree with LL though, pound for pound i have not yet heard a better all round sound from an 80's box. I have some that sound nicer generally but they are from the 70's or cost a hell of a lot more and none have such a convincing bass. Poor man's M90 i think! For a small cheap box they are brilliant.
Just received my first Sharp GF9595 and am pretty pleased with it. Fully working and tidy for £65 aint bad. Should get my GF9000 soon; the seller is taking his time getting good packing materials.... I won't be rushing him!

yes the Philips 8614 make's a terrific; back-up & base
for the just as competent Philips 8514

the 9595 is a great box Nick, and the 9000 is simply stunning. it has the nicest needle meters iv'e ever seen
