TV ad airing in the UK now for this triple CD set, begins with an enormous close-up shot of someone starting a tape in a Sharp GF575

This was a boomer that everyone wanted back in the 80s... those looks.
...not matched by the sound, so I'm told, but there you go.

i can,t give you a link to the ad I42, but i can tell you i had a mint 575 a few yrs back and they don,t sound very good, loud yes, but not great quality sound.
very nice looker though i would tell how i aqquired mine it,s a good story but i don,t want to bore anybody by the way theres one on ebay uk at the mo, buy now £88, very fair price i think

ok dt, you twisted my arm well i was browsing a second hand shop a few yrs back and i noticed the shop owner was talking to a customer.
i approached the shopkeeper and asked him if he ever got boxes in, he replied he as,nt had any boxes for ages.
i said ok if you ever get any in please put them to one side for me.
just then i turned to leave the shop when the man he was talking to said... excuse me mate are you after the big 80s type?? i replied yes why?? he said i have a big one in my house that you can buy and i only live round the corner.
he said if your not doiung anything you can come and have a look at it, i said yes great.
we left the shop, walked round the corner to he,s house and he opened the door and invited me in.
i entered the house and there it was a minty 575 sat on he,s floor.
i asked him how much he wanted and he replied £10, a deal was struck and i was off with a huge grin on my face wish things like that happened more often
please excuse my story layout guys, english was,nt my strongpoint at school, it bored the c**p out of me
