-Not sure if you folks saw this, but there is an art gallery here in NYC that is showing, among other urban photos, some cool boombox images. They are also selling a book about the boombox era but i can't remember the title, sorry. The gallery is on Broome Street between Lafayette and Crosby in SoHo.

Yes it is lyle owerko and his work is actually on display at two locations on Broome street. You can view his work at the Clic gallery, and the Clic bookstore. you can check the website for location and hours. There also may be another display on Centre street.

There was just an attendant there when I arrived. I think you can actually purchase framed reproductions in the bookstore. I also got a nice gallery flyer with an M-70 on it from the bookstore.

Oh well done, fellow New Yorker. That's the place I saw. By the way, have you checked out the flea market on 25th street lately? I recently saw a few vintage beauties there.

I just got back from the flea market, but sadly all i found was this crap.

I would LOVE one of those big m90 frames but I guess that's just out of the question..
