Yeah, i got one of these. The approach is simple allbeit slightly pointless. Toshiba have stuffed all the components into a unit that is 2/3 the size of a standard cassette sized walkman i.e. a Sony WM-2. The idea being that the cassette sticks out the side. The concept i.e. how you position the cassette & the position of the heads is similar to the WM-2 but without the aditional bulk of the body. The result is a very flimsy procarious feeling unit indeed.

The thing is, you still have to store the cassette somewhere so where's the real saving?

I think it is similar to my hitachi mini walkman!,
with the tape sticking out and stuff, and the
seperate tuner part!

i do have a few KT-AS10 in different colours, looks like just a previous model of the 500, never heard of a 510, hey, where's buzz70 for more info !!!
