Wanted Lasonic (931, 935 or 975) or Rising 20/20

I've had a bit of a windfall and am looking to get one of my most wanted radios with it.

For me, living in Australia, the brand Lasonic is THE ghettoblaster name. For decades I've lusted for one, it just epitomises the classic 80s radio to me and I always dreamed that one day one would be mine. Thanks to finding this marvellous site and starting my own collection I think it's time for me to fulfill one of my Ghetto Wishes.

I'm after the square edged TRC-931 and I'm looking for one in great working condition as possible. Cosmetically I'm not overly fussy with light scractches and the usual wear and tear that any radio thats had a long fulfilling life collects along the way. The mere thought of owning a radio that was used on the sidewalk in the u.s in the 80s is exciting beyond description to me, if you get my drift.

I'd also be really interested in a TRC-935 or TRC-975, good cosmetic condition would be nice, but good internal condition is essential. I would like to be able to cross one of these radios off my Needs List if possible.

Failing this I'm also looking for a Rising 20/20, the cleaner condition the better, again I want to pay for a good specimen and am not looking for a bargain or junker to work on.

Please bear in mind this will need to be shipped to Australia and I'm aware it'll probably incur around a $200 shipping cost.

I don't want to go through U.S ebay for this as I want to remove as much risk as possible in the quality of the item. I've been watching Lasonic auctions one and off for a long time and I'd much prefer to buy one off someone here who knows their stuff than someone who just found one at a yard sale. Even more so from someone who's fixed one up and restored the internals themselves.

Please PM me if you have any offers or suggestions. I'd love discuss it further and assure you that your radio is going to a home where it will be greatly loved and appreciated for many years to come.

Thanks for reading, and Rock On!
