well -- lets see --
this might be less hilarious if you clowns knew that all this was just a small part of our continuous dedication to our s2g family.

these parts are not for the common dime-a-dozen dull grey m70 --like YUK Big Grin

instead -we have two rare and gorgeous TITANIUM color M71s here --

both need the same part -and the BEST one will be offered to some lucky member-

no hurry though- -a year or two is swell

james -- they are both apart and waiting for parts.

well the whole thing with these parts is you may not know if yours is broken unless you open the box and move the capstan wheel,, some decks may only encounter the rear section thats under the wheel if it has a lot of play or excessive play more than likely its broken i had just noticed that it wobbled and the belt would move erracticly and was playing a bit sluggish ,, thats when i said hold on there is somthing here and it causes other issues with the stop mechanisim to so it would be good if you find your m70 acting a bit stange then take a peek at the deck and see if you have that same problem,, notice that the m90 has a simular metal base that the capstan wheel rides on too but it looks like they are not to prone to breaking because of all the m90 that i have seen and heard nobody has not mentioned having that part break Smile

Ramon, can you get us some pictures of the part in question?

moncheeto - 2009-03-01 09:47

i will try to see i will ask ira to help me,, its funny that i saw an m90 deck apart and did not really noticed the it has basicly the same part as the m70 so i would almost belive that the m90 has basicly the same part but does not have the break down problem as the m70 do,, i will try to get it for you guys Nod Yes
