I saw that yesterday... Wink The only problem I have is that his description is somewhat inaccurate.

quote:
Vintage TECSONIC Model J-1 Jumbo Ghettoblaster Boom box.
Same radio as used in the movie "Do The Right Thing" with Spike Lee (see pic of Radio Raheem himself). The only difference is Radio Raheems radio was a Prosonic as this one is a Tecsonic but the radio itself is identical.

Has been tested and works great and sounds good. Both tape players are fully functioning as well as the radio. Only problems are one antenna is loose at the base and the cover is missing off the battery compartment for the clock. Comes with power cord and will also work on 10 "D" cell batteries (not included). There are inputs for Phono and AUX as well out Line Out. VERY CLEAN boom box with only minimal scratches. No cracks and all the knobs are in working order. Rare to find one in this good of condition!

1st off, the box isn't "VERY CLEAN".
2nd, he neglected to mention why the stop/eject button for cassette deck "A" is missing.
3rd, he didn't mention the broken foot in the back of the box.

I know his feedback score is pretty good and all that, but if he can forget to mention those things...

If I'm nitpicking, let me know. I do have the box on my watch list. Wink

I also noticed those deficiencies. Are both Prosonic & Tecnisonic "J1 Super Jumbos" Korean made?

Actually, he got the names mixed up... I believe he meant to say "Promax". Wink
