the problem is between yuk and yikes !!
or BOTH.
i know for 100% sure that it wasnt send out like this .
so - it either broke in transit (went into the dumpster, once again
to look)
or i broke it -but its a big mystery - because i've had for only 24 hours - never dropped it --and there is NO signs of it being dropped -
close-up -- its not the kind of shape than can be replaced by a woodie -
so -yup// screwed is the word
bottom line -- is that i need to buy a case- right ??

Well, I still have my mint 9494 that is still non working ever since I plugged it in at Christmas time... Out, just like that. Working fine one moment, not the next.
Ive got a lot into it, but... Because I sent you this one that now has a broken section on it... I'll do what I can to make it right!

instead i made one .
if we ever have to replicate a broken/missing box piece -
always PRAY its not one that turns a sharp round corner !!

anyway --a few more hours of fit/finish -
and a drive thru the body shop for the precise color match......good as new.
