Toshiba ought to re-supply these remotes, as, i have seen a few boxes needing them. Were they ever available, to buy? I`d buy one, even though mine has one.

Thanks for the reply Lifan. I have a very very good condition RT-S932 that has everything, but the remote and cassette door cover is for the second one I have which has been in the family since new. This one has seem some street corner (body popping) action from the early 80's.

Your right Toshiba should carry a few spares, but saying that it is over 25 years old and I doubt it will still be a product listed on their system, but it maybe worth an email to Toshiba "Japan"

Hey JT. I could have supplied you with a door, if i wouldn`t have let all my stuff go. I let someone else have one, can`t remember who it was.

O no....... Just my bad luck , O well just gotta keep looking, you'll never know what turns up in the wild.

Thanks again Litfan, make sure you keep hold of yours as these boxes are fantastic and very rare indeed.

To all the other S2G members can you help with the above, It would be much appreciated.

Royal, has got a nice one, which he won on ebay for about £120. Where is ben anyway? Anyone know how he can be contacted.

Yeah I have seen the one Royal has from his pictures. It is a clean box and his collection is outstanding.

I'm going to write up an introduction about myself to introduce myself to the rest of the S2G crew. Also get some photos of my collection which some how just keeps getting bigger.

So watch this space.

Had a surprise call from toshiba this morning. I sent them an e-mail, on monday, about the 932 remote. He say`s. He has been in touch with japan, and, unfortunately, with the 932 being 30 years old, there is no chance of getting one. He said, after production stops, they keep parts in stock for 6 years. He say`s, there is probably some somewhere, in a warehouse. He was surprised, some of these radio`s are still kicking around. He remembers the 932 well.

Here is an idea: If you find a general purpose remote that has Learn feature. Then you borrow an original Toshiba remote and use it to Teach the GPurpose remote. Then you have a clone of the RTS931 remote. I am in market for one of these BTW

I think Walmart used to have the general Purpose remote that could input and Learn IR waveform and then duplicate it. Thereby learning 3 or so remotes down to 1 that can control 3 devices. Looking for a RTS931 or 932 myself
