First personal radio ??
An odd ball item.
Was sold in department stores.
I remember having two of these.
Finally found a picture of one.
They can be worth many $$ on ebay now.
Made in 1967-1969.
Did not actually buy one but
got it with some flea market junk.

No speaker, no volume control.
Only AM tuning.
No power switch, turns on when earphone is pluged in.

I'm probably one of the youngest posters here, but my first was a early 90's Sony Walkman. had Dolby and auto-reverse, but was just a cheap hunk of plastic all the same. Mum gave it to me in the fifth grade for bus rides- tapes were dragging on it and she bought herself a CD player. It was my first Walkman, but sure not my last. I kinda skipped CD portables because Napster came soon and it was so easy to write out tapes from my PC with equipment I owned.
