A very warm welcome to you. Members I am sure you all have seen in the past Viszoni's auctions on Ebay. He has a MOST impressive collection of often the rarest of our passion the cassette Walkman. I have purchased from him off Ebay in past and found the item to be exactly as described ( WM-EX909 in Green duel heads). Thank you again my friend.
Recently he and I have had conversations on how Sony sold models in different parts of world with totally different boxing and even headphones as with Visoni's Japan version ( most all his collection purchased while he was in Japan / Singapore... GOD how lucky you were to be there in 80's and 90's) of the WM-701C Boxed he has on Ebay now. His box has no molded in area for the folding headphones we all are familiar with ( mine from UK boxed has folding yet box and molded plastic box totally different from his) Apparently Sony sold in the Orient a ear bud type of phones for the 701C.

CAN ANYONE CONFIRM THIS?

Welcome Viszoni. I have bought a number of rarer items from you. As John Edward said items are always exactly as described and service is faultless. Where DO you get such intersting stuff?

He also have a VERY nice black Sony WM-7 NIB. I'm so tempted to go for it. I've purchased Walkmans from him before and he's a great seller. I purchased a Sony WM-R15 w/tuner pack, Aiwa HS-J07, and just bought a silver Sony WM-F65 can't wait until it gets here. When I got the Aiwa HS-J07, I was kinda upset at first because the radio worked but the cassette wouldn't work, until I noticed the player had a pause switch, which was on. Silly me. So everyone when you can't get something like that to work, check all the switches, especially Pause switches. It works and sounds GREAT. Thanks again Viszoni.

I bought most of them from Japan. That's where my pay gone those days. Now my sister in Singapore is digging out from the carton boxes one by one for me to list them on Ebay. Decided to sell them as it will cost a bomb to send to US.

Any of you who needs non-working unit, do let me know, according to my sis, I do have some units lying around but never bother to get me details of the models.
