Just curious if this player picks up both AM and FM signals. From pictures I can see "FM" right on the front.

If it turns out that it only picks up FM signals, do any of the sexy slim models have an AM radio in them?

I have the Sony WM-F17 and it indeed does have FM.

even though it's plastic and kinda large it records and sounds way beyond what you think you are getting. they weren't cheap either. my boxed one says $89.99. not cheap for the mid 1980's.
