Are these the DD9's headphones?

Hi guys, long time not much posting ;-)

I was digging through my small drawer of walkman stuff, and came across these headphones. I have a DD9, and was just wondering if these are the headphones it was supplied with. I can't find a model number anywhere on the 'phones, which seems a bit unusual for Sony.

Cheers, Jon.

I don't think these are the original headphones. Have you checked the small plastic tube where the cable splits in two? This is normally where you can find the model number.

These are the ones you need. Similar but not the same MDR-525b if I remember rightly.

Actually, they do look very similar.

Anyone?

Spot on Derek - the model number is MDR-E575. This eBayer is selling some MDR-575(B) phones which look pretty much identical, and which he says are those supplied with the DD9. I'll do a bit more digging for some final confirmation.

Thanks guys.

Cheers, Jon.

Looks as if they might well be the ones: This page has some nice pics and lists the MDR-E575 as being the phones supplied with the DD9.

Cheers, Jon.

I think you are correct. Coolcol has a boxed one on the photo gallery section. Check it out. The headphones supplied with it look identical to yours. Mystery solved!

OK, you have a DD9 with the original 'phones.
Now, if you can find the box & instructions, you'll be rich Smile

Got the instructions too :-) Sadly, no box. Mind you, not sure I'd ever sell the DD9, though I may well sell the headphones - I use Grados with my walkmans now.
