Aiwa users manuals-hard to get these days

aa.fussy - 2009-07-05 12:32

Getting a user manual for a Aiwa cassette players seems to be quite difficult these days as the Aiwa website is no longer operating.

Its website was http://us.aiwa.com.

Even Sony cannot assist with requests about Aiwa products, as I just found out:
"
Aiwa Strategic Accounts Partnership Ltd. was, many years ago - a subsidiary division of Sony Electronics, but broke away to become an independent business entity. Unfortunately Aiwa has since closed and no longer offers any customer support, parts or repair options for their products."

This was in response to a question about my HS-JX849 that I emailled Sony about.

Yes-I guess so.

Some of the Aiwa websites no longer function-examples include us.aiwa.com and answers.aiwa.com.

Most of their now only have a page stating that product/service enquiries can be done over the phone.

Even Sony's support website lists Aiwa models, but don't offer any way to download the manuals.
