Aiwa ET-700 stereo matrix speaker

Greetings all,

I have just received an aiwa et-700 stereo matrix speaker. Wow, this thing is powerful. The speaker pivots on top of a small amp, which can be tilted depending on which angle you prefer. It is made up of two 8cm full range speakers, and also a 9cm center speaker. With built in DSL, it blows out about 10 watts (EIAJ) of sound. Very powerful for a portable speaker.

I'm really happy with this speaker. Very clear deep sounding with little distortion, and very loud. I also have a pair of sony apm-007av speakers. To be honest, i was never really happy with the sound from them. After buying three or four pairs to get two working ones, i find them very bass heavy with lots of vibration. Maybe this is due to the square drivers. I don't know about you guys (and girls), but i have never seen square riples appear in a pond after throwing a pebble in one.

And the moral of the story? Round is better than square !
