Toshiba KT-4177

Greetings all.

I just bagged myself a wonderful Toshiba KT-4177. I have no Toshiba's in my collection, so this will be my first.

I can't believe there were so few bids on this thing. I managed to get it for 22-50 euro. It is in near mint condition, just three minute scratches on the back.

It has a wonderful black piano finish. It comes boxed with all accesorise. Original headphones, softcase, remote, user manual and box.

This has got to be one of my better buys in a long time. I think this model dates from 1988. Would this be correct?

No Idea, Never even Knew that Toshiba made walkman's!

Greetings all,

So here is my beautiful KT-4177. Yes James, Toshiba did produce walkmans. But not many were high end models like this one.

I got this one for an absolute steal. 26 euro including postage. It is in mint condition, apart from three tiny tiny marks to the rear. They are hardly noticeable. I put a new belt on it and now it works perfectly. I have pictured the unit alongside an Aiwa HS-PL77 to give an idea of it's size. The PL-77 itself is one of the smallest Aiwa produced, so the toshiba is tiny.

I just love the finish on this one. An almost piano black finish, with just a hint of colour in the red and green. I also love the little remote. Really different to any other i have seen by any other manufacturer.

I have always wanted a nice Toshiba to add to my collection, and this one really fits the bill. It is really different, like nothing else i have ever seen before. A real bargain!

Nice walkman, Minty. I like the glossy finish. The condition is excellent, and the price, gorgeus! Congratulations for that.

Thanks for sharing with us.
