OK, I'll bite.

From the photos it is clearly an AIWA HS-PX101 not an AIWA 101. There are many AIWA walkmans that could use the number 101 ie J101, JX101, PX101, TX101 ...

You don't go around talking about JVC 90s or Conion 100s or Sony 6s.

Not really my approval. It removes ambiguity.

I have also the same question asked to myself: if it was a JX, PX, J, etc...

It's very interesting what you done! So you picked up your two walkmans of your avatar and mixed them, right?

Indeed you have the world's rarest PX101 for sure. Only one unit exists and it's prety nice. congrats!

To be honest I have to say something about this....Think of it like a classic antique car, you are better off keeping it original when possible, you don't take a different motor with different vin and just to stick it in the antique you are fixing up, it hurts the value and upset the purest? A rare AIWA model sure remain true to its essence and free from adulterating or diluting influences, as it represents one of AIWA's best efforts, during a time when engineers were more in control and not just some money hungry CFO, that you have nowadays that rush a product out the door without proper testing and at the cheapest cost possible.

But then again it is your, if your happy with it like that, then it fine. As I mod alot of stuff myseft and built my own computers, amplifiers and etc.

I've swapped buttons and door lids on some of my lesser walkmans too. That looks to be easily undoable anytime.

It's a nice color combination- the buttons are easier to spot in dark conditions.
