WM-D6(C) historical MSRPs?

Does anyone recall or know exactly what the sticker price(not adjusted) of the WM-D6 and WM-D6C was during its many years of production?

WM-D6C started at £249.95 and when they stopped making them it was £349.95

Cool thanks.

May I ask where you got that info?  From memory or documentation?

From memory, when i got one in the 90's it was £249.95 which was the same price as my then Aiwa HS-JX303 and the last time i saw a new D6C in the shops it was £349.95.

It may have been cheaper when it came out in 1984 but i am not sure.

Wow that Aiwa was expensive and only had Dolby B for playback.

But it was a very good Rec / Playback machine. If i remember correctly it had BBE / DSL system.

The playback was first class but the record was next to useless. For me Dolby noise reduction was useless on any player, i never Dolby on anything.
