I need a new AA Battery case for my HS-PX101. Does anyone know if the battery box to a HS-J800 is the same? Or If you know of any other Aiwa Walkman models that are interchangeable with the PX-101. 101's never come up for sale but I see the others all the time.

If i remember correctly it takes 2 types, one for the AAA and a different one for the flat battery.

Yes that is correct, I was hoping that there was another Aiwa unit that the AA compartment would work on my PX101. Originally Posted by toocool4:

I'm in need for this part too. I wonder if 3D printing could be a answer to our problem? I don't know much about it though.

I don't have a j800 to test, but I gues some models of the very same year could be the right choice: J101, JX101...

I've often wondered about 3D printing for replacement parts. I certainly think it would work for cracked dd series center gears.

J101 and JX101 do indeed share the same battery case (and the same AAA case) but unfortunately that's not the same one as PX101, which is thinner than the two former.
