DC 2V adapter - Aiwa JX629

doober314 - 2010-02-02 13:49

Since I probably won't be able to find an Aiwa pb-4 battery that works, does anybody have or know where I can get a DC 2V adapter?

It says, "DC 3V Battery Supply 1.5Vx 2" on the back of the walkman and the battery says, "DC 2V 550mAh."

There's a spot on the side for the adapter to go and that says:

DC 2V
+ c -

It might be really easy to find, but everywhere I've looked so far only sells 1.5V or 3V adapters. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi, your'e right 2 volt adaptors are hard to find, I have several Aiwa's that use the PB-4 battery luckily I got the adaptors with them, but they also take 2 AAA's in the same compartment check yours, I thinks it does as it says 1.5v x 2 same as mine.

I don't think it takes 2 AAA batteries with what I have with it. Unless there's something for batteries that plugs into the adapter port. I just have a place for the Pb-4 battery and the adapter port.

And after searching a bunch of electronics stores and getting weird looks when I asked about a 2V adapter, I found this online:

It looks like the power is the right amount, I just don't know if the input will be the right size.
