Used to Drive for fun...when I was your guys age.
looks like a 427 sting ray,
gawd i love those cars,is that a split window coupe ed? that is just insane ,what a bad ass car.
'67 Large block, no split. Sold to buy a business, should have kept. My old Mark VII LSC is in background first pick.
Always been a Lincoln Man.
hell i used to drive big ole lincolns and caddillacs until these crazy gas prices came along ,the biggest motor i ever had in a car was a 69 caddillac sedan deville with a 472 cubic inch big block v8 ,and the lincoln 460 cubic inch v8 and i tell you those big cars just would lay rubber ,amazing especially since they wieghed around 5,000 pound each lol.i miss those two dinosuars.
Super nice cars Ed!!!!!!!

Dumba**!!!!
Damn Ed! That is my dream car. 427 "Big Block" (Not "Large Block"
), Rochester "Six Pack" Carburetors (Three Two Barrels inline), Muncie M22 "Rock Crusher" four speed manual. If a convertible...the headrest option, and the "Knock-Off" rims with Firstone Redlines.
Oh...and a lottery ticket!
my first car...
1978 Daimler-Benz W123 230C
That's a nice classic, AK!
There aren't many cars to choose from in the USA, if you want a small gas-saver. One of them is the Daewoo-built (in Korea) Chevrolet Aveo (which used to be known as the Kalos around the world). I bought this one (in '05) for the color... a "secret color" that was never publicized, even on the Chevy website. GM calls it "key lime."
And lookie at what I bought today. On clearance sale at
Meijer for $149.00. Not super-cheap, but, for NIB, not bad!
(Pay no attention to the Teletubby between the front seats.)

I was worried at first with the "secret color" and the fact it was "key lime". Then you brought me back with the new Kaboom. (Great price too! Congrats!) Then you lost me again and I'm worried even more that your riding with one of Tinky Winky's B***ches!
First Hello Kitty...Now this. Did you go to "Houston" with vladi?
(See this thread if you're wondering why it's a "Houston" Texas thing.
Houston...Special Indeed!))

Please don't confuse Key Lime with Key West.

Thanks! Last one in the store.

It's Laa-Laa. Hey, every car needs a mascot, right? Be glad it isn't Elmo.
First Hello Kitty...Now this.
What can I say? It was a slow day at the Salvation Army store. I couldn't bear the thought of coming away with nothing. The Hello Kitty radio/CD was the best I could do. I made sure the clerk double-bagged it, so I didn't get beat up on the way back to the car.
Did you go to "Houston" with vladi?
Nope. I'm waiting for a day when DM4U can get off... I mean, when DM4U can get off for a day... I mean, when DM4U can get the day off. Did that come out right?

You bet it did!
So..."who" will "drive" who's bus?!?!?
A 2003 MINI Cooper.Also I have a '92 Honda Civic with over 200,000 miles on it.
1991 Merc 208 D (van)
1964 Opel Admiral 2,6
1969 Lancia Fulvia 1,3 Rally (project)
1982 Daihatsu F20 Hardtop (fun in the dirt)
...and not to forget my two-wheelers:
1974 Zündapp R50 scooter
2001 Ducati 996s
Lots of folks use pick-ups, but I do my hauling in a Sprinter. Big enclosed space (could've been even bigger if I'd gotten a longer version and/or an extra-tall roof) and good mileage with the Mercedes diesel. Practical, and very Euro, too.
(Yeah, the silver paint's coming off the wheels. Seems my power sprayer has a little too much power!)
Put some 24" spinners on that sucker BabyBoomer.......
