The Yamaha was designed by whom?

ao - 2010-03-30 13:33

Oh very nice. Here's some blurb.

Designed by: Mario Bellini, retro. He was an Industrial
Designer from Italy. Thanks for that cool
article link Agent. The lines are soo clean,
it's real eye-candy!

Hey Daiwa, long time no spk, hope things are gd Smile

That Yamaha is a nice bit of kit - shades of B&O about it perhaps...

Hi Iso - Still bumping along here in the Rocky Mountains. Yes, I get that B&O analogy. It is "over-the-top" design, but nothing special inside, just your basic two head deck with all the common features of it's day. But a looker, no doubt, just like about anything that B&O made back in the 80's. Real collectors pieces.

I am still looking for a Bang & Olufsen cassette deck, the 9000 series, it had three heads and the design is stunning.
