Denver has a number of great festivals during the summer, but this year's Westword Music Showcase was about the most fun you can have in one day!
Lots' of small local bars in a five block area have over 90 local acts and the main stage had Neon Indian, Superchunk, and Ghostland Observatory.

AND, you meet the nicest people at summer music festivals!

Good call Conrad! The Bluebird Theatre is right up the street from me. I see it's their last show before heading back to GB. Listening to them right now on myspace... interesting to say the least!
