is there any SIMPLY RED fans out there?
just watched them perform on tv for the last time ever, im not a massive fan but they was excellent and really got the crowd going.
i really enjoyed it and never knew they had so many massive hits, it kind of makes me proud because they are a MANCHESTER band too
just a useless bit of dribble coming from my mouth
I am not a huge either but I do dig some of there music from back in the day. The last song that I've heard from them was the one that sounded like a Hall & Oats song.

yes i know the one, can't think of the track name but, it does have the same back music as the hall & oates song...i can,t go for that
by the way i do like hall & oates, they made some great songs
There were a lot of bands worse than Simply Red but right now I just can't think of any.
now now AO, i bet your a big fan really
C'mon Cris... Keane? R.E.M.? all your favourites...
Liked 'Money's too Tight To Mention' back in 1985 but nothing really of note since then, apart from the excellent Masters At Work remix of 'Thrill Me'

Irony is not dead ...6th paragraph...
I remember mounting a major charm offensive on a girl when I was at University. Once I'd opened my account (so to speak) we retired to her room to 'admire some etchings'. The only tunes she had was Picture Book by the afore-mentioned ginger-haired, pigeon-chested, hobbit-come-turd & his band. It, er, got some repeat plays that night I can tell ya. Kind of imprinted itself in my mind actually....but the night was spoiled somewhat by the disapearence of my wallet and watch, all very odd.

well AO, in the interest of your wallet and watch, maybe MONEY WAS TOO TIGHT TO MENTION, but don,t worry, im sure A NEW FLAME HAS COME since that disasterous night.
there,s no point in HOLDING BACK THE YEARS, maybe you would of had a better night with her at the FAIRGROUND, afterwards you could of walked her home and counted the STARS together.
anyway, IF YOU DON,T KNOW ME BY NOW, this is my silly sense of humour, sorry
Touche' Lav!!
