Picture #2 = luckiest guy that day.
Nice ad.
Probably something about the danger of stepping out in front of a bus. Just a wild guess.

Bump. If RBJ can do it with the stuff he has for sale, I can do it with pictures of broken buses. Today's wreck: especially for James (DM4U), another doozie from Houston.
One way or another, I'm gonna make Jens proud of me by keeping his thread alive! Heh heh heh...

I do not have a pic but a small story.
Some weeks ago when i went out to go to work i went to the next bus-stop and waited.
No car passing by..well that was strange as the street normally is full of cars.
So i turned my head to the left and i saw why..
There was one of the buses from my city all over the street..the front was stucked in a small hair-salon.There were damaged cars all around.
In the evening i got told that the driver had a total black-out, crashed into one car and pushed the next 4 cars with it until the bus finally stopped in the big front-window of the salon.
luckily noone was hurt, but it is allways a very horrific thing to see such big and heavy bus moving normal cars like they were small toys.

well there is rarely a house made out of wood here..so he just damaged a bit of the fassade and the whole window.
And the road is smaller too..but similar, yes
It was a bus with a link/hinge.
by the way i just found a video which is all about the local trams and buses here in Dresden ( our public transport ) if youre interested how it looks like around here
video( trams in the first half, buses in the last half )
Very, very cool!
Any idea who does the song "Nightmare" that's on the soundtrack?
that was the 52 route in North houston ,,, the p/u ran a red light and the cab of the p/u ended upside down in a ditch nobody killed although it took a long time to get the driver of the p/u out of there ... its hard to see this in this pic but the cab is in a ditch near the end of the ditch where there is road going over the ditch ...

Wow!! I like all your photos, but I really like the Philips bus (or part of a bus)! It combines two of my favorite things: electronics and buses.
My only Philips bus is a toy.
