hi guys. i got an 80gb ipod classic. im pretty smitten with its looks, its small, solid and 80gb, oh and its black.

i thought, id be able to install rockbox on it, but this is a new model, and there hasnt been one developed for this version, yet. so im stuck with itunes, which im not pleased about. i really dont like the sync concept, not one lil bit.

can anyone suggest an alternative that has worked for them, ie, different programs to load the music on there? suggestions appreciated, thanks,

Check out XPlay. It's the best and easiest I've ever found to work with my friend's iPod.
