imagine being sent alone to an abandoned place for three years, with enough buzz, electricity, good weather, but for anything else only having the choice of a good hifi (choice of speakers, amp and turntable, nothing else !) and three records of your choice -
wich records are you taking ?
my choice (if of any interest)
1. Nash The Slash - Dreams And Nightmares (12" album)
2. Mogwai - My Father, My Hero (single sided 12" maxi)
3. Gammelfleisch - Kicker (12" album)
Damn, only three records?! That's just mean!
1. Oscar Peterson and the Singers Unlimited - In Tune
2. Moon Safari - Doorway to Summer
3. John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman - Self Titled

I'd take my present Hifi-System..a mid-qual JVC amp + turntable from the 80's..enough to listen in pleasure.
The records i'd take out of my collection:
Luther Vandross - Songs
Fat Boys - Comming Back Hard Again ( for the fun in the place )
Afrika Bambaata & The Soulsonic Force - Renegades of Funk
If i'd had the choice of every vinyl out there i'd probably couldn't even decide..
LP1 Stevie Wonder songs in the key of life.
LP2 Beatles Let It be
LP3 is a tie
Dave Brubeck Time Out.
or Simon and Garfunkle Concert in Central Park.
