I don't think he is a member... some people here have bought from him and been happy. He does have some nice boxes though. However I think he has banned me from bidding in his auctions because I gave him a hard time on one of his auction descriptions one time last year. (Don't ever try and correct him or question anything he says, that's for sure....) Recently I tried to make an offer on a JVC RC-550 he was selling but it would not even take my offer. He ended up selling it for a few hundred less than what I was going to offer. He has kind of an attitude..... and I guess it costs him sales sometimes. I think if everything goes well it would be fine to deal with him. However if there is a problem with the deal he will be a bear to deal with I am sure..

I know John from a Helix 4636 I bought from him a while back. He was a super nice guy to chat with. I think we spent 30 minutes on the phone talking about all the estate sales he finds them all. I chatted with him a few times since via his auctions. I've never had any problems with him and still have his number. John sold a rare Pilot turntable double cassette boombox last year I realllly wanted but was too late in bidding. I had it in high school and wanted to aquire it again for sentimental reasons. Not sure if one of our members won it.

I've bought from him as well - about a year ago. Didn't have any problems - the transaction went very well, and the boombox was as advertised.
He does know about S2G - so maybe he is one of the non-posting members....

not sure if he is a member or not -he
often has lots of nice stuff ,
and i have had good dealings with him.

(although i just now got an 'automatic decline' on a best offer)
