They showed him hugging her on stage and doing the fake kiss thing after her acceptance speech and my first thought was "hey, did he just grab her a$$?"

That's sad, I know... don't blast me, but wasn't there controversy about him ALLEGEDLY having an affair not too long ago?

Not to take anything away from her accomplishments and capabilities, but this is such a transparent ploy for votes that it makes me very sad for our country. She's potentially going to go from being the Gov one of our least populated states to being one heartbeat away from the Presidency!!!!

I think Margaret Thatcher was awesome.

I think women have a place in politics and are every bit as capable as men. But, for this woman to come virtually out of nowhere to now be the VP. This is a massive publicity stunt and everyone knows it.

I wonder if this will hurt or help the Republicans...

McCain's just gonna raise tax's if he wins and so will Barack if HE wins so it really dont matter whom McCain grab's as he is OLD Enough to be Entitled to grab a little ,,, isnt he?

here doesn't seem to be any of the pageant shots around right now, I even checked on a few "adult" sites I know of. I also foung other posts from people looking for the bikini pictures from the pageant, no results found.

Not sure about the facts on this, but I did hear she's under investigation because she wanted to fire a State Trooper chief because he wouldn't discipline (or fire) a subordinate state trooper who was involved with drama surrounding her sister... I'm sure we'll be hearing more about that in the news, if there's anything to it... Other than that, she seems pretty clean cut.

As for qualifications,actually she having been a mayor and a governor has more executive experience than Obama.Generally speaking your better off picking a governor for president or VP than you are choosing a senator.This is because a governor actually has experience running something.Members of congress just takes your money and plays with it to buy votes or just for fun.I hear she is fiscally responsible as governor which is a good start.Don't assume she isn't capable just because she's beeauttiffuuuul!As for being one step away from the presidency and thus commander in chief she's no less qualified than Obama if you really think about it.At the very least she would have had being over the Alaska National guard in her favor.I'm willing to hear her out and give her a chance.After all I don't like any of the other candidates.It will be interesting to see what will happen in the VP debates.I'm likin' this chic....or maybe I'm just in love as she's def my type
