Met with Ira and his wonderful wife Joanne today at beautiful Tiger tail beach for some fun in the sun.
Boomboxes, sunshine, fishing and family!! it was great.
Tara Jake and I had a wonderful time.
Ira brought his fancy looking Aiwa TPR 950 and boy was it ever nice.
I brought my Crown 850 .
We jacked them both up to the I-pod & great sounds filled the air.
We will have to travel to their neck next time.
A great day for sure.

its easy to over-use the word 'great'
when its all the facts :

but want to report that we had great weather at one of americas great beaches --while
we heard some great music on two great classic boxes --
and even better than all that -

was the great company --

at the end of the day
-- great guy frank --gave me a copy of the great CD that he played last month at our great florida meet

i just cant think of any more accurate words to describe this day !!!

Frank, thanks for sharing some awesome pictures. The only things missing were a hibachi grill and me! I never would have thought that the TPR-950 was that much smaller than the Crown.

Man those are cool pics. The beach looks so inviting. Can you imagine if we ALL lived closer to each other? Thems is sum purdy boxes too. It's so "great" to see more sunny beach pics.

Im jealous of the Florida weather. NYC is getting there, just not quite there yet. Believe me when I tell you I take the boomers to Jones Beach out in Long Island. I have been told to turn that sh*t down several times. This yeah I get to bring the Conion. The J-1 would make more sense due to weight but F it.

I just bought a 931i to take to North Carolina..... figure I wont get mad if it falls in the water or gets sand kicked on it

Now if it happened to one of my Conions.... BOOOO!
