Peace - i have a 2003 VW Passat that has original car system in it (speakers,tape deck,cd,monsoon system(which has its own little amp). I want to upgrade because i like to hear my sh*t.I have a 12" box (lanzer)pushed by 1000 watt crunch amp,i need to upgrade inside to really hear my highs - what i'm thinking is a pair of component speakers for the front and regular speakers for the back with a 300-400 wat amp to push it. I've gone to some spots around me new haven ct but they're talkin 700 - 1000+(BUGGIN!)I went home to jersey/philly they were saying 500-700, i've been on onlinestereo & there prices were decent, any other suggestions on what sites to go on, if the speaker set-up i want will work and how much to spend to have those items installed.
