It's been 95-118F here every day for the last 10 days or so.

I hear that when it nears 50 degrees down there the Ira isn't the only thing in Florida retracted, shriveled and wrinkled.

thems of us that have it to spare --
can always afford the 30% shrinkage
But what if you only have 30% to begin with?
not sure ??
better ask oldy about that.
is there something we need to to know rbj

Sure ask me! The internet is a wonderful tool (no pun intended) for finding out medical info on people. And since Ira's was readily availible, well, here's what his condition is known as...
Peniminimustinylitis: A condition where individuals named Ira are (ahem) 70% short of of the "distance" which males achieve at puberty. Symptoms include living in trailers located in certain south Florida towns, building wooden rides to compensate for "shortcomings", and peeping out from, and photographing unsuspecting women using portholes. This leaves them with only 30% of capability of other males. However, it should be noted that achieving fatherhood is still possible from intercourse via "splash pregnancy" which does not require the other 70% to reach the bottom and achieve fertilization.
Try Texas .. 26 degrees one day than 85 the next ... July ? 103 degrees with 85% humity . LOL
oldy --your scientific research has achieved the usual inaccurate results
here however-from this morning, is what a cold sea in florida looks like --its good for short surfers with short pe-kers --
That is how we roll in WI!!!!
It is funny how many of those actually apply to me.....
Actually all of them do except the snow-mobile. I don't own one. All the rest I have done on a regular basis (seriously!!!) In fact just a couple of weeks ago my daughters were selling Girl Scout cookies door-to-door and it was below zero out side, probably close to -10.
