Went to one of these once, at the NEC. Didn`t see any boxes though. Lot`s of nice tube stuff though. Expensive. I bought 4 ECL 86 tube, for a rogers amp.

Gota Rogers amp sitting right next to me, running EL84's, pick it up last week.

Which one is it? The junior? I love rogers amps. I have a cadet 3 pre/power, and, an HG88 mk3. Lovely amps.

Litfan, i have the book Audio Audio (Johathan Hill) on vintage amps, and there are lots of Rogers amps listed in it, but i can't work it out, just rang a friend and he said i will have to measure it as it's a Rogers Developments one, early. Has seperate Pre Amp serial No: JP 9353. Amp J 9562

 The book has all the sizes. Take me about a year.

Can anyone please advise on the sound quality of Rogers cadet mkii and rogers cadet mkiii.

I've own a cadet ii but wonder is there a huge diff between the two.

The Mk111 was an amp and control unit  separate until 1964 in 1966 it became an integrated stereo valve amp.
Cadet Mk11,there is stereo one and a mono one.
Mk11 1958-1964
Mk111 1966/70
How do i have this knowledge? Got the book on me lap.

you have any exprerience between the mk2 and mk3 (power n pre) on thier sound?

ive own a rogers cadet ii power amp with 4 mullard ecl86, i was very surprise that this little amp producing only 7w drive my EA2.
