Thanks deliverance, I push myself as I want to learn and if you go out of your comfort zone you will crash from time to time that is how you will learn. You cannot learn anything new if you stay in your comfort zone. I am still relatively new to RC Helis but it’s fun.

Hope you get it sorted. Just out of interest, what's the range on R/C helicopters like this? Looks like great fun!

brutus442 - 2013-07-15 10:39

Oh TC that hurts to looks at . Hopefully you get her back up to spec and in the air again. This would be a hobby I could get into...looks like fun!

Its not about range as you don’t fly it too far, as if you can’t see it you will not know which way to more the control sticks. The transmitter has a range further then you can see.

You would only fly it a long way away if you are doing First Person View, which means you have a camera on it and you can see what the camera sees.

Yes it is a lot of fun.

Yes its fun and its a great hobby but very difficult to master, we have people in my club that fly real helicopters and the say the RC one is harder to fly.

Checkout this flight by Bert Kammerer whom is one of the best pilots in the world

Fixed as good as new, had it up in the air this afternoon. Here it is with some of its smaller siblings.

It may well be, I am in the UK. I live in Chelmsford Essex, about 30 miles away from London.

brutus442 - 2013-07-20 16:40

Oh you just a short swim across the pond then

The Markham Fairgrounds are very popular for many clubs but I didn't know it was used for RC as well...thanks for the vid!
