Sony M-50 Micro Walkman

Got this rarity last week it has the inner packaging which is nice and the original headphones, it is in unused condition. Sadly the tuner is missing, but I didn't pay that much for it, surprisingly the tuner is still available from Partstore at a price, more than 3 times the cost of this M-50 probably worth the investment though.
The M-50 does have an issue fast forward and rewind work fine but it plays at fast forward speed. I haven't taken it apart to investigate this, a service manual would be nice but impossible to find I suspect.
Does anyone have one these and had it apart or repaired it.
I tried to find more pictures online to see what accessories originally came with it, but the only pictures I could find were at Pocket Calculator and Audioidiots and these were only of the player and headphones.
Anyway here are some pictures.

Wow, that is an awesome find. Where did you get it? I've been searching eBay for a while now for a Stereo Micro Cassette Player / Recorder.

Congrats!

Great microcassette walkman!, a pity you do not have the little tuner cassette! Smile

This one is about my favourite microcassette walkman, I really wish I can find a nice one!

I actually have three of these, two of which are a bit rough but they do come with their tuner. PM me your address and I'll send one to you.

These didn't come with too many accesories, here is mine.

I noticed on my Sony M-50 that there is no slot in the cassette door for the tuning dial on the FM Module, it is there on other Sony M-50's though. Does that mean you can only use the FM Module on certain Sony M-50's?

Chris, nice to see the outer box very few pictures on the net, you have 3!!!
The tuner slot on mine is on the hinge side of the cassette door at the top, Greg if you look on the front of the service manual it states only the AEP model had the tuner serial numbers above 11500, I only just looked didn't know there was two versions.
