Not sure what size faom surrounds i'll need for this unit? I've measured and looked around but haven't found anything...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Where are you located? You may have a speaker repair shop near you. We have two locally. You may have to ship them off if you can't find the parts online. Smile

Thanks for much love oldskool, somebody's listening Wink

Im in Oz so i'll guess I can look for a local repair shop. It's not a huge priorty of mine now as i'm expecting 3 bbx's in the next few days but I don't want it just sitting around. It would've been good practice for me before tackling a CS 880 surrounds. Want that thing to be PEERRRFECT! Big Grin

I'm looking at re-foaming some speakers too and called Total Recoil for a quote (many thanks for the heads up on them TSHORBA), which they didn't want to really give, but said around $100 per speaker is an approximation and they replace the voice coils and said they generally come out sounding better than when they were originally made.

I was organising to send them off and then thought I'd see if anyone local was selling those DIY kit's and found these guys:

They're located in Melbourne and have very reasonable shipping prices.

Ordered today so should have them before the weekend. Will let you know how I get on. I thought if I can fix them myself I'll save $150, and if I bugger them up further then Total Recoil can really go to town on them.

Rock on.
