telefunken studio M1 fuse?

kittmaster - 2008-03-01 13:46

I am messin around with mine, I managed to fix the broken AM ferrite bar, but now I have no lights, tuner, but the tape does spin and appears to play.

Is there multiple positions for the fuse for 110 and 220? The schematic seems to show it, but I don't speak german. Anyone know if the position of the fuse on those weird fuse holder clips?

The mains fuse ( 110 or 220 V AC )is responsible for the whole energy supply.

Your problem remembers me at the little red rectifier, which is mounted on top of the battery compartment.

This is an old selen type, it often has problems. Replace it in a silicium type.

Hey Kit! I've paused on my 'Funken for the moment, I'm waiting to see what happens with yours. Big Grin

I found that if I move the fuse from the A-B-A in which 220V is in the B position, I moved the fuse to the right A position and it lit up like a christmas tree.

So far everything looks ok.

Now its time to actually fix the damn thing.

I need a part for the tape deck, does anyone have a parts box? I need the "cone" piece that is on the tape reel, mine is missing and the tape does not load onto the tape reel correctly.......damn.

The tuning bat meter is not working right, it seems to be sticky and uncalibrated......and the tape VU meter is not balanced either.......lol.....
