S90

erniejade - 2009-05-01 14:04

Ok I have 2 S90's one for parts one to make nice. I took them to 2 repair shops and both of them said they could not make one good unit out of them because they do not understand the unit nor can they figure it out. Anyone want to tackle this?

Are you selling these Brian as fixeruppers,or just want to get them fixed for yourself? Wink

moncheeto - 2009-05-01 14:08

what is wrong with them?

I've worked on 3 wireless boxes the 931 from tosh. The mech is almost exactly the same. Got it as a donor from Rimmer.

What is it exactly you want to do??

Edit, I could probably pull it off for you, but I have a repair queue going on with several members.....if you don't mind the wait

HI you know I alwasy forget to hit the notification thingy.

I have 2 units. Both of them the deck is bad. One is missing part of the door and some of the switches are busted off but still work. The radio on both work but, scratchy on them.

I got one to help try to fix the other but the repair shop said they could not figure them out. frustrating

Hey ernie, how`s tricks. Yeah, i`ve done some head scratching with the s90. The whole cassette working, is linked to the eject button, weird. Plus, a lot of the deck is plastic, and, get`s broken off.

Humm. that would explain why i cant open one of the doors!!!! LOL. You figure with a unit like the s 90 that is a higher quality they would have used better parts on it.

Ha ha, yeah. The door will open, if you unscrew the front panel, mand move it a little.
