Eject button spring location on SCR-8?

So I have my SCR-8 apart to fix a tape deck jam as well as a dial pointer that won't move. Both of those are sorted and I'm buttoning it back up again. However the issue I have is I'm not sure where the spring tension spring for the eject button should be attached to and where each of its little ends should hook into. It sort of went flying out when the front of the box came off so I haven't a clue what its original position was.

Included below are pictures to hopefully clarify what I'm trying to get at.

The first picture shows the spring in question sitting atop the deck lid. The second picture shows the left side of the deck where the spring goes....somewhere....

I'll try my best to explain without a picture handy...the hole in the spring should go onto the black shaft that is sticking out, the part that the deck lid swivels around now. Then the top part of the spring would go up under the gray piece that is sticking out...(between those brown wires and the gray piece that jets out and back. The other end is then pushed back towards the black part of the chasis. A picture is worth a 1000 words but I don't have one at the moment...hope it helps though

Thanks! I managed to sort it out on my own after staring at it for long enough but I really appreciate the help. The SCR-8 is now back up and running 100%. Smile
