All i know is the rxdt707 is the best egg you can behold apart from the rx dt909.

jack --not really sure if there is a 'mash' model --
that may just be a marketing name --
also -- I Agree with rimmer Smile

so get it -- and let us know good it sounds

Yes!! I love my DT707, but BOTH cassette decks are not operating, which makes it less desirable to me...I like complete working units, but it is the best Panasonic "egg"!

Whats the difference between the 707 and the 909?

redbenjoe - 2008-06-09 20:50

not rally sure --but have heard the 909 is a very rare japan only model --
like we in the states will get one -- NEVER Smile

Cheers every one,I'v e-mailed the the guy,but no reply, hope he hasn't gone cold,as he thought my first massage was a scam and doesn't realise that I'm just crazy cobra top collector Big Grin always thought that the DT-75 was meant to be the king cobra Confused If any of you know of somewhere that sells replacement woofers, for the 75,would be v.greatfull,as am having big defficulty finding ones that small.
Cheers. Wink

I had a dt75 with the same issues jack i have since given it away and bought another i can tell you first hand the dt707 sounds richer than the dt75 but the 75 has some great features such as power rewind and electronic eject plus dolby, the only feature they missed on this model was surround sound, that plus a richer sound puts the dt707 way ahead in my book.

How does the DT75 compare to the 680 in the bass department? And between the 75 and the 707, which has the most bass?

Sounds like this is an ordinary RX-DT707. MASH = Multi-Stage Noise Shaping; a type of CD playback technology. BI-AMP means the b-box has separate amplifiers for the woofer & the mid/tweeter. These were standard features of this model, I believe.
