If belts are the only issue then seriously do not consider buying it!

imo Buy straight away !!

Check here. This has many belt sizes. Sometimes they are wrong but very rarely. http://russellind.com/client/d...ad/PRB_Belt_XRef.pdf

Its pretty simple really, spend a few pounds on a collection of belts and put the one that is the closest match in and it will run perfectly. It is really a simple thing to overcome.

Gee thanks....

But in all honesty, if you expect the exact same belt names and sizes you might not be so lucky. There are literally hundreds of stereos out there where it was never recorded what sizes they used. Hence, buy a good belt collection and replace. I am talking from experience here but if you would prefer to not receive any useful input I'll make note and not bother in the future.

And FYI they are in the PDF above:

RX-5350:

Belt,Capstan FRW10.1
Belt,FF SCY3.5

Belt,Rewind SCY4.2

Belt SCY5.2

Ok thanks Doc. I finally did find them on that pdf page but the abbreviations (FRW and SCY) are unusual and they list the SCY 5.2 at the end but don't say what it's for....
I'll try a google search and see what turns up.

Thanks Docs I was just going to post that :-)

Close to bottom of belt pages the measurements for each abbreviation is there. You need to write them down and when you order you have to match measurements up!!!
