Great boxes, Nelson! Both look really clean. Cool I'm surprized by the size of the M70 - I assumed the GF-508/GF-9696 was bigger! Nod Yes

Thanks Retro
The 508 is a bit taller about 3/4 inch but it is built with a slit slant back to front which I believe to be the reason. It has an arched back.Weight is about the same, thickness is about the same the 508 is about 1/4 inch wider side to side as just measured. For those who will surely ask. How do they compare? I'd say they are so close in overall sound. That your selection will be fully based on looks. As for me I had to have both.Although I dig the look of the GF508(GF9696)a bit better.I listen to lots of salsa which has lots of instrumentS in it and love them both for this. For me it's a tie score. If I could only have 1 boombox I'D HAVE TWO.

WOW ! Nice pics I love the 805 and they look great together. They really compliment each other when sitting side by side
