That looks a very heavy-duty box. Nice looks too! I must say though, that the handle looks a bit weak! Wink

Ho no no no the handle is 0% platic
100% metalic !!!!!!!!!
I think that the handle will be the last part to break on this bbox

You know what Retro Addict, that was one of the main manufacturing problems with Pioneer's SK-95!!! Due to the fact that they put the Condenser Microphones in the corners of the handle, it was basically HOLLOW!!!

I remember walking down the street with it one day, and with it's size and weight with the batteries included, I wound up walking down the street with just the HANDLE IN MY HAND!!!

Although it's a Pretty Box, it really wasn't STREET WORTHY!!! Looked good on the Wall Unit though. Cool

Oh that's good, it looks remarkably like the all-plastic handles on Philips D8534/D8634/D8644/D8734 boxes. They're known for snapping.

Yeah, it's daft when manufacturers made really good boxes, then made them vulnerable to damage by falling, by putting a weak handle on them. I can't understand it. Then there's the boxes like the Sharp GF-777, it has an immensely strong handle. Actually, the 777 requires such a strong handle, for the sheer weight of the thing!
