Well I finally got the much-awaited Hitachi this weekend. This is the box I had in 1984 and the search for it brought me to s2g. This unit came up on ebay at the beginning of July, so thanks to everyone for not bidding on it. It cleaned up real nice with only a few minor scuffs on the top panel.
It seems a bit smaller than I remembered, but still the flagship of my collection.
