Just received my new mini one !

Hi there !

Thanks to BlasterPunk, I'm now the owner of one of the biggest portable stuff ever built : the Tristar RR5890 !

I don't even know how people did think to built a portable stuff of this size (more than 1m width ! )but maybe this is the same designer who worked on the Hummer XD

It looks mean, even my 777 seem like a medium-weight aside of it, also, sound pretty good (not as good as it's big) but anyway, I bought it for its size and look. I shew to a friend this afternoon, who aren't really into bbx and stuff, after some second of astonishment he told me that this stuff must have been a designer joke.

It's in very good working order, just have to put back the Red Sensor cover, but I don't got a long enough screwdriver and will update picture (I'll try to find one tomorrow cause I can't wait to see it in perfect shape ^^ )

So here is the monster :

and to make a good idea of it's size, here it is with a M70 (cause everybody here know the M70 size ^^ )

here is it, I put back the red cover (a bit used, I'll try to make a new one myself soon with some transparent red plastic paper), hard to find a long enough screwdriver °_° (it really sound loud, I can't put up to 5 on volume gradient, my ears started bleeding )

anyway :

viennasound - 2009-01-25 10:16

What for is the sensor?
Theft-Alarm?
Remote?
...

crasse - 2009-01-25 10:41

something like an alarm system I think, I don't really now how it works, when I put it on, sound stops °_°

blasterpunk - 2009-01-25 16:59

I ll look for another red sensor cover in better shape. Have fun with this Giant.
Put the power button "off"and the sensor button "on", than wait 1 min and the alarm starts.
(i think it was like that).

thanks for all your comment !

BasterPunk -> that would be great for the red cover ! and I didn't manage to put the sensor on (but it's not very important anyway, as everything work to listen music on it Smile )
