Who knows the boom box product name for the header image above. I've been looking for a boom box from 83 that I wanted to purchase and it was sold out. I was saving up for it when I was 18, and the image above kind of looks like it. I ended getting a toshibe with the remote control in 1983. The one I had my heart set on was a Fisher. I only remember that it had some real nice speakers like the ones above, it had some serious base for the day and the panel with all the knobs had a 45 degree angle to it. I've been searching Google forever but can't seem to find an image of it.
The box in the banner is the Sharp CT-6001.

The Sanyo P6 was the same as the Fisher PH-470. Was it this box?

Man, you guys are awesome. You don't know how long I've been trying to remember the model. Yes that's the one. I remember going to Sears and jamin the beats on that stereo. Now I wish someone had one for sale. I'd buy it.

This is a very old auction photo from Yahoo Japan, I don't own one, but I think Paul does. I have a brochure scan somewhere with the specs, but I think It was Japanese domestic only. I see the other half of your name is back

Also, the smileys will be back once it's enabled
Ok, the text may be a little hard to read, but this what I have.

I remember back then b/w and color tvs being popular.
