ok i scored this for £2.50 at a booty......man this needed some tlc

totally stripped it down,resprayed the speaker grills and bars and a good bath

sounds really good...plenty of bass,i think it's due to it having a big case as it's quite big in depth to allow for the tv tube

Now I can see why it was so cheap it was filthy!...but a bit of work and it looks fabulous...can I say DIBS!!!? (assuming I could afford it if you let it go lol!)

I've got a nice Atari 2600 that I could plug into that and play Pacman

WOW... what a grand looking classic box boy did it clean up fantastic.  Certainly worth the effort.   And it works to Bang on the buck to be sure.   As for Si nerds are cool I have 3 Atari 2600's and 111 games and boxes of controls.   Kaboom is my addiction ;-))

Even have the Arcadia Starpath Supercharger memory expansion with many games all on you guessed Cassette tapes !!! Use a walkman to upload game too cool/retro.

Nice! I got two Philips ART60 version of this box! The motherboards in these say they are actually made by Sharp...

You can build in a rf-modulator and a mini (Linux) media player and have a multimedia box for video and music! Tested it already and it works very nice with the small screen! Nice project!
